Meet Miranda Walter
Born in Monterey, CA, Miranda is a passionate cannabis professional with a goal to explore every area of the industry.
From a young age Miranda leaned on high sativa strains to manage her ADD/ADHD and avoid dependency on drugs commonly prescribed to those with focus issues. The realization of its effectiveness fueled her passion to enter the industry and started off as a budtender in Lompoc, CA. She says what got her excited about her work was “connecting with patients and being able to help them in the way it helped me - that's my biggest love for it all”.
Following her budtender role she transitioned into production and fulfillment but found herself wanting for another change and moved into cannabis delivery in San Luis Obispo, CA. That sparked interest of exploring new sides of the industry is indicative of her goal to be a versatile professional in the world of cannabis.
When the delivery service closed in the Central Coast, Miranda decided to pack up and move east to the Central Valley to began the next phase of her career at the 7 Points facility in Woodlake, CA. She was brought onto the cultivation team as a trimmer and says she found a new excitement and perspective working directly with the plants as opposed to the retail sales side of the business.
“It’s just cool to see it all. To take it all in and learn is my biggest thing. I’m really excited to see where it all goes.”
